Enervive: Encouraging the creativity within all mental disorders

Physical exercise

Physical exercise is great for people with mental disorders. The adrenaline that results from running, aerobics, or playing a sport can create feelings of happiness.

More importantly, though, exercise gives you time to think, and to settle the worries in your mind. If you have been crying, go running for half an hour and see how you feel afterward.

While exercising, think about the projects you would like to start, as well as the projects that you started before and would like to pick up again. You may be motivated to get to work right away, the moment you return home.

Finally, exercise can help to counteract the side effects of psychiatric medication.
